This is a full-time on-site position at one of DGM Racing shop locations with the option to travel each race weekend. Mechanics are responsible for assembling, maintaining, and preparing race cars for competition. This position plays a critical role in preparing race-ready NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series racecars that meet the team’s performance and safety standards.
Fabricator
This full-time, on-site role at DGM Racing's Headquarters in Lake Wales, FL, includes optional race-weekend travel. Fabricators build, repair, and prepare racecar components and chassis to ensure NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series cars meet all performance and safety standards.
Road Mechanic
The Road Mechanic is responsible for supporting at-track preparations, operations, and logistics at NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series events across the country. This position involves frequent travel and close collaboration with the crew chief and team members during practice, qualifying, and competition.
Hauler Driver
The Hauler Driver is responsible for the safe, timely, and professional transportation of race cars, equipment, and team assets to events across the country. This role requires long-distance driving, professional conduct, and strong organizational skills. When not driving, the hauler driver assists with setup, teardown, and general support for track operations.
Shop Mechanic
Locations: Lake Wales, FL and Mooresville, NC
Position Summary:
This is a full-time on-site position at one of DGM Racing's shop locations with the option to travel each race weekend. Mechanics are responsible for assembling, maintaining, and preparing race cars for competition. This position plays a critical role in preparing race-ready NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series racecars that meet the team’s performance and safety standards.
Responsibilities:

Assemble, inspect, and maintain race cars to meet performance and safety standards.

Organizes and prioritizes multiple mechanical tasks under tight deadlines.

Fabricate and fit parts as needed to support car builds.

Complete all tasks with precision, accuracy, and accountability.

Road Mechanic

Position Summary:
The Road Mechanic is responsible for supporting at-track preparations, operations, and logistics at NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series events across the country. This position involves frequent travel and close collaboration with the crew chief and team members during practice, qualifying, and competition.
Responsibilities:

Prepare, maintain, and service race cars at the track to meet performance and safety standards.

Demonstrates strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities to troubleshoot mechanical systems under time-sensitive and high-pressure situations. Examine key components of race cars and be able to identify and diagnose potential issues.

Assist with car setup, prior to NASCAR inspections and on-track activity.

Execute in-race pit duties and assist with post-race teardown.

Communicate clearly with engineers, crew chiefs, and drivers.

Maintain a professional and positive attitude while representing the team.

Position Summary:

Read and interpret technical drawings and measurements accurately.

Communicate clearly and take direction respectfully from crew chiefs, engineers, and lead fabricators.

Maintain high standards of workmanship, safety, and detail in every project.

Work collaboratively with the race shop and road crews to ensure car readiness and performance.
Requirements:

Hauler Driver
Location: Traveling Position Based out of Mooresville, NC
Position Summary:
The Hauler Driver is responsible for the safe, timely, and professional transportation of race cars, equipment, and team assets to events across the country. This role requires long-distance driving, professional conduct, and strong organizational skills. When not driving, the hauler driver assists with setup, teardown, and general support for track operations.
This is a travel-intensive position and requires availability for extended race weekend schedules.
Responsibilities:

Safely transport race cars, tools, equipment, and parts to and from race events using the team hauler.

Maintain the hauler’s cleanliness and manage inventory inside the hauler, and ensure items are organized and secured properly.

Assist with unloading, setting up equipment, and loading at each event.

Represent DGM Racing professionally at all events, on the road, and in the garage area.
-
Follow all DOT regulations, logs, and safety requirements.
Requirements:

Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record. Knowledge of DOT regulations, logbooks, and safety compliance.

Proven experience driving a tractor-trailer; motorsports or specialty hauling experience preferred.

Ability to lift and move heavy equipment as needed during setup and teardown.

Strong communication and organizational skills.
